Mubende district, for the last 20 years, Has suffered from an AIDS scourge which has led to a low level of livelihood and income. THERE EXISTS a high mortality rate, stress, and school dropouts among other problems. The level of education, health, and home improvement is presently at a very low standard of living in this region.
-121 million children around the world mostly girls are not able to attend school.
-Nearly a billion people enter the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names.
-More money is spent on pet food in the United States and Europe ($17 billion) than on global efforts to educate children ($6 billion).
-Of the money spent on weapons each year, less than 1% of it would have put every child into school by the year 2000 and yet it didn’t happen.
-Only 4% of all charitable giving goes to international causes of any kind.
